Events
Creative nights and workshops. Sometimes we paint, and sometimes we play. Ataris events are made for adults who want to do something different, whether that means learning a new creative technique, spending a few hours making something with your hands, meeting new people, or simply getting out of the house for a while.
You don’t need to be artistic or have experience and you definitely don’t need to know what you’re doing before you arrive.
Come as you are. We’ll figure out the creative bit together.

What happens at an Ataris event?
It really does depend on the event. You might spend the night painting a cowboy hat, creating intuitively on canvas, playing Art Bingo, experimenting with a new medium or walking into something I haven't even thought of yet!
Some events are guided workshops. Others are much more open-ended. Some are quiet and mindful, while others involve music, games, ridiculous conversations and considerably more creative chaos.
Not your typical
Paint & Sip
Ataris isn't about sitting in a row and trying to perfectly recreate the same painting as everyone else. I'll demonstrate techniques, give you ideas and help when you need it, but you're always encouraged to change the colours, abandon the plan, add something weird and make the piece yours.
Sometimes there isn't even an example artwork to follow.
Scary? Maybe. Liberating? Absolutely!
Come alone. Seriously.
You don't need to bring a plus one. Coming to something creative alone can feel a little intimidating, but plenty of people walk into Ataris without knowing anyone.
The studio is small, relaxed and intentionally welcoming. Grab yourself a seat, make something, have a chat if you feel like it — or happily disappear into your artwork for a few hours. You won't be the odd one out.
