Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to bookings, workshops, events, programs, parties and other services provided by Ataris Art Australia (“Ataris Art”, “Ataris”, “we”, “us”).
By making a booking or purchasing a ticket, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Additional conditions may apply to particular events or services and will be provided where relevant.
Bookings & Payment
Bookings are not considered confirmed until the required payment or deposit has been received.
Prices, session times, inclusions and age recommendations are displayed at the time of booking and may vary between services.
Where a booking requires minimum participant numbers, these requirements will be communicated before confirmation.
Cancellations & Changes by You
We understand that plans change. Because Ataris sessions often require preparation, allocated studio space and materials purchased in advance, the following cancellation conditions apply:
More than 7 days before your booking, your booking may be transferred to another suitable session or held as Ataris credit.
Between 48 hours and 7 days before your booking, Ataris credit may be offered where possible.
Less than 48 hours before your booking or non-attendance, bookings are generally non-refundable and non-transferable.
If you’re unable to attend, please get in touch as soon as possible. I’ll always do my best to work with you where I reasonably can.
These conditions do not limit any rights you may have under Australian Consumer Law.
Cancellations by Ataris
Occasionally a session may need to be cancelled or rescheduled due to illness, unforeseen circumstances, insufficient bookings or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Where Ataris cancels a booking, participants will be contacted and offered an appropriate alternative, credit, rescheduled session or refund where applicable.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
Late Arrivals
Please arrive as close to your scheduled start time as possible. If you arrive late, we’ll do our best to help you catch up; however, sessions generally cannot be extended beyond their scheduled finish time.
For children’s sessions, please also collect participants promptly at the conclusion of the booking.
Children & Young People
Parents and guardians are responsible for ensuring that all required participant information and consent forms have been completed accurately before their child attends Ataris.
Where drop-off is permitted, the nominated parent or guardian must remain contactable throughout the session and available to collect their child if required.
Participation is also subject to our Studio Guidelines.+
Behaviour & Safety
Ataris aims to provide a safe, welcoming and respectful environment for everyone. Participants are expected to treat other people, artwork, materials, equipment and the studio with respect and follow reasonable safety instructions.
Where behaviour becomes unsafe, significantly disruptive or negatively impacts other participants, Ataris may contact a parent/guardian, require a participant to leave a session or discontinue future participation where reasonably necessary.

Allergies, Medical Information & First Aid
Parents and guardians are responsible for providing accurate and current information regarding allergies, medical considerations or other information reasonably required to support their child while attending Ataris.
Basic first aid may be provided in accordance with the permissions supplied by the parent or guardian.
Ataris does not administer medication unless specifically agreed beforehand and appropriate arrangements have been made.
Photography & Video
Photos and videos may be taken during Ataris sessions, workshops and events. For children and young people, identifiable images will only be used for Ataris promotional purposes in accordance with the consent provided by their parent or guardian.
Adults who do not wish to appear in photographs or video are encouraged to let us know before or during the session.
Artwork & Personal Belongings
Participants are responsible for personal belongings brought into the studio. Please collect completed artwork and personal items at the end of your session or at the arranged collection time.
For artworks that need to remain at the studio to dry or be completed later, collection arrangements will be communicated where necessary.
Parties & Private Experiences
Private bookings may require a deposit and/or minimum number of participants. Final participant numbers may be required before the event so that appropriate materials can be prepared.
Changes requested after materials have been purchased or prepared may result in additional costs.
Food, decorations and other items brought into the studio remain the responsibility of the person making the booking and must comply with any instructions provided by Ataris.
Specific conditions relating to your private booking will be communicated during the booking process.
Creative Outcomes
Ataris encourages individual creativity and experimentation. Examples, demonstrations and reference images are provided as guidance and inspiration only, and individual results will naturally vary.
No particular artistic outcome or finished result is guaranteed.
Studio & Property
Participants and visitors are expected to use the studio, outdoor areas and other permitted areas of the property respectfully and follow any reasonable instructions regarding access and safety.
Access to areas outside the designated Ataris spaces is not permitted unless otherwise advised.
Children must remain within the areas designated for their session or event.
Accessibility
The downstairs Ataris studio is accessible without stairs; however, the upstairs area is accessed via a flight of stairs. The current bathroom is separate from the studio and located on the back balcony of the house, requiring access via five stairs.
If you have accessibility requirements, please contact us before booking so we can discuss whether the space will meet your needs.
Illness
Please do not attend Ataris if you or your child is unwell with symptoms that may reasonably place other participants at risk. If a child becomes unwell during a drop-off session, their parent or guardian may be contacted and asked to collect them.
Changes to Sessions & Programs
Projects, materials, facilitators, schedules or other details may occasionally need to change due to availability or circumstances outside our reasonable control. Where a significant change affects a booking, we will communicate this to affected participants where reasonably practicable.
Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to exclude, restrict or modify any consumer guarantee, right or remedy available under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified.
